DNA Ploidy test measures the DNA content within cells. Normal, healthy cells grow, divide and die in an orderly fashion. In the resting state, they contain one complete set of chromosomes. Early signs of abnormalities can be seen when cells tend to not grow, divide and die as orderly as they once did. Instead of the resting state having a complete set of chromosomes, they might have an abnormal DNA content, which is known as aneuploidy.
